Our Vision: a UK more self-sufficient in timber grown in healthy, well-managed woodlands that benefit people and wildlife.
Our Mission: To be instrumental in developing the resources and skills necessary for producing quality wood products made of timber from healthy, well-managed trees grown and processed in the UK.
Woodland Heritage have been uniting all tree people for over 25 years – a unique vehicle for wood users (and consumers) to “put something back” and contribute to the proper management of British trees. We all use wood; but do we all grow trees – support for Woodland Heritage helps to complete that equation.
Woodland Heritage offer the opportunity to leave behind a growing legacy ~ thriving woodlands, benefiting everyone now, and for the future.
Young trees purify the very air that we breathe – they are the lungs of the earth, converting carbon dioxide to oxygen as they grow.
They sequester carbon and contribute towards the fight against climate change. Our work includes: educational courses, tree related projects, research and study bursaries to ensure that the next generation has the knowledge, skill and respect for trees, which is so essential for a sustainable environment.
Sustainably managed woodlands need vision and long-term commitment.
A Gift in your Will, however small, will be used wisely.
