Remember us in your will

Gifts in Wills make up over half of our voluntary income so your legacies are vital in helping us achieve our mission.

It can take many years from making a discovery in the lab, to the point at which a new treatment becomes available to patients. It took nearly two decades of dedicated work by ICR scientists and researchers before abiraterone, a prostate drug shown to extend life, was finally approved for use in the UK, US and the rest of Europe.

By supporting us with a gift in your Will, you are investing in the future treatments and preventative strategies that will change the outlook for cancer patients across the world.

Free Will Service

The Will For Free programme is a collaboration between participating solicitors and the ICR which allows you to make a professionally-written Will for free and us to raise vital funds to continue our world-leading cancer research

Open to anyone 60 or over the programme gives you the opportunity to get independent, professional advice and allows you to make a basic Will or update an existing one at no cost to you.

The cost of the Will is covered by the ICR and although you are not obliged to leave us a legacy, we would be thrilled if you chose to support our work in this way.

Since the start of the programme the Will For Free programme has raised millions of pounds to fund our vital cancer research. With your support we will be able to achieve our mission and make the discoveries that defeat cancer.

Make a Pledge

Gifts left in wills are really important to The Institute of Cancer Research. However even if you haven't made a will, making a pledge to do so in the future would really help us to find out about your future intentions.

Pledges are not legally binding so by filling out this form you are not committing yourself! You are simply allowing The Institute of Cancer Research to confidently estimate future support for their cause.
