Tribute Funds

Every gift acts as a tribute to the special person in whose name the fund has been created, while giving important financial support to our work.

A tribute fund is easy to create and there are no set up or maintenance charges.

"The tribute fund provides a very positive focus. It pulls everyone together for a common cause" Suzanne Despard, whose mother Mary Lesbirel died from MND in 2008.

Make a Pledge

If our vision of A World Free of MND is to be realised, while also providing the best possible care and support for people affected by MND, then we must continue to raise the necessary substantial income to meet the costs involved.

We rely almost entirely on voluntary donations, and gifts left to us by our supporters in their Wills (legacies) form a considerable part of this income.

After providing for family and friends, leaving a legacy to the MND Association in your Will is a tremendous and thoughtful way of supporting our work and is exempt from inheritance tax.

Leave a Legacy

If you have already made a will but you want to leave a legacy to a charity you can make an addition or change it without re-writing your current will. This addition is called a codicil.

To leave a legacy to Motor Neurone Disease Association - England, Wales and Northern Ireland please download the codicil form below and take it along to your solicitor.

Please note however that this form is not legally binding on its own and has to be part of your main will. We advise you to seek the advice of a solicitor.

If you have any questions about leaving a legacy to us, please contact Motor Neurone Disease Association - England, Wales and Northern Ireland directly they will be happy to discuss this with you.
