Large Breed Dog Rescue need dog walkers and foster families

Large Breed Dog Rescue is a small animal rescue charity that finds new homes for big dogs. They are looking for volunteers who can walk the dogs, or look after them in foster homes to help them get settled in a stable setting before finding a new home.

Radio Wishing Well needs radio presenters

Radio Wishing Well is the hospital radio station serving Trafford General Hospital. They are looking for new volunteers to present radio programmes and help with events, as well as visiting patients on the wards and collecting requests.

Bristol Samaritans need listening volunteers
Bristol Samaritans provide free, confidential emotional support by phone, email, text and in person to people who are contemplating self-harm or suicide. They are currently looking for listening volunteers to help them provide this service. If you are selected you will be given training; it could be several months for the next available training sessions and therefore some time before you are able to answer calls. Volunteering as a Samaritan is therefore suitable only for those who can consider it as a longer term opportunity.

Rhythms of Life need a personal assistant and a driver

Rhythms of Life is a London charity which provides food and support to the homeless. The charity currently serves over 500 meals each week to homeless people at their food distribution centre in East London. They are currently looking for a personal assistant to help us run the charity. The personal assistant would be working with the CEO of the Charity. They also need a driver with own transport to pick up food in Aldgate and bring it to their Soup Kitchen in Hackney.

Wipe Your Tears need a charity shop assistant

Wipe Your Tears help children who are in hospital and make lives easier for their parents. They are opening their first Charity Shop in Bolton and are looking for volunteers who can work in the shop on a regular basis. They are also looking for donations of goods for the shop.

Yorkshire Cat Rescue need event helpers

Yorkshire Cat Rescue is an animal shelter for unwanted and stray cats and kittens. They rescue cats from an area covering 700 square miles in Yorkshire. They are looking for volunteers to help at their fundraising events - shake a tin or help out at a tombola. Alternatively, you could run an event of your own.

Spire (Preston) need volunteer fundraisers

Spire is a local charity that provides support to adults who have a learning disability in Preston Lancashire and its surrounding area. They are looking for volunteer fundraisers to help raise money for Spire. The method of fundraising can be entirely up to you.

Spinal Research need cheerers for Prudential Ride London

Spinal Research is a UK charity funding research into treatments for spinal cord injury.They are looking for to help cheer on riders at the Prudential Ride London event 9-10 August. They just need enthusiasm and smiles – each cheerer will have front line viewing of the course and finish area, as well as a Spinal Research t-shirt, drinks and snacks

Carisma need general volunteers

CARISMA (Community Alliance for Renewal, Inner-South Manchester Area) is a charity that supports local communities affected by gun and gang crime. They need volunteers for various things at different times, including help with mailings, distributing publicity, stewarding, serving refreshments, setting up rooms etc.
