Women and Children in Africa work in partnership with individuals and communities to enable them to improve their lives. Particular focus is given to small, achievable projects that can become self-sustaining within a period of 2 to 5 years. These projects are making a real difference to women and children disadvantaged by poverty in Africa.
"Overcoming poverty is not a gesture of charity. It is an act of justice. It is the protection of a fundamental human right, the right to dignity and a decent life."
