Registered Charity Number: 244708

The Royal Air Force Museum is one of the premier aviation heritage centres in the world and is the UK’s largest museum dedicated wholly to aviation. It was opened by Queen Elizabeth II in 1972 on the historic site of the London Aerodrome at RAF Hendon. The Museum now has two public sites at London and Cosford and houses over 200 aircraft, 250,000 photographs, 7000 pieces of fine art and over 100,000 documents and memorabilia. Donations are gratefully accepted to ensure that this fine collection remains an invaluable historic learning centre for present and future generations.
