Fewer than 50% of people are diagnosed with dementia at a sufficiently early stage, yet early diagnosis can significantly improve a patient’s quality of life as well as provide them with better treatment.  The Department of Health, supported by the Alzheimer’s Society has launched a new campaign to raise awareness of the early signs and symptoms of dementia.
