On the 17^th September Paul Parson’s who is well know to many deaf and hearing loss organisations, set off on a 140 miles journey across the hilly Pennines from Workington to South Shields with some friends who were raising money for other worth while causes.

This ride took them off road too meaning they encountered some pretty steep terrain and all this in the pouring rain!  Paul said “At some points I was really cold and wet especially if we had to stop to fix a puncture, but we kept going knowing that the 3 day challenge would be well worth it and that we had each raised a fair amount for charity.” 

Paul only made Hearing Link aware of the challenge 3 weeks before he was due to set off but he quickly started fundraising, everyone at Hearing Link is really proud of him for raising over £600 in such a short space of time.
