At the Friends of Speckled Wood are aim is to procure an area of land for the benefit of the generations of children in the community and area. By leaving a legacy you can help us provide and area were, wildlife teachers can give these children skills to help them on their road to adulthood.

As a result of recent legacies we have been able to ensure that this process is becoming nearer and our aims closer to becoming a reality. When this happens many more children in our community will be given the chance of a safe and happy life. Leaving a legacy to Friends of Speckled Wood is about revitalising lives and energising hope for the future in our community –We are very grateful to those individuals whose commitment to Friends of Speckled Wood has inspired them to carry out such a special act.

Advice on making a Will

  • The Friend of Speckled Wood always recommends that you consult a solicitor when drafting your will. This is because they are best placed to advise you on issues such as changes in inheritance tax as well as making sure you are leaving your estate as you would want it.
