This term, the Brookburn School PTA will transform a patch of neglected woodland near the school kitchen into a natural play area. They need 4—8 volunteers each session, no experience needed, just enthusiasm. Hot soup provided! Sessions will include building paths, coppicing the woodland, pruning archways, planting an edible hedge, creating natural play features and fence building.

Chernobyl Children's Project need volunteers for a summer holiday camp in Belarus
Chernobyl Children's Project is looking for volunteers in the summer of 2014 to go to Belarus for two weeks to work with children or young people with disabilities. The summer camp for children is likely to be in June, the summer camp for young people with disabilities will be in August.

A Spanish speaking optometrist is needed to work in the Bolivian Amazon this summer

The Andean Medical Mission is looking for a Spanish speaking optometrist for their mission into the Bolivian Amazon in June and July 2014. The volunteer will need to have good English and Spanish and be able to screen patients for cataracts and other blinding diseases.
