Could you have a dry September?

Could you have a dry September?

If you feel like you’ve over-indulged this summer and could do with going a few days booze free, why not join CANCER Research’s UK Dryathlon?

The challenge has been set, so forget January, opt to go alcohol free for the whole month of September! If the health benefits, and thought of no hangovers for a month, wasn't enough, you’ll be raising money to help fight cancer with sponsorship from friends, family and colleagues. You can even find out how much you could be saving in calories and cash using their handy alcohol calculator, plus the money you’ve saved can be pledged towards your sponsorship target.

“It’s a tough challenge but after a summer of holidays, festivals and weddings it’s a perfect time to have a break and commit to a booze-free month. We are asking the British public to join our team and put down the pints, back away from the beer and cut the cocktails this September to raise money. Our vision is to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured and every pound Dryathletes raise this September will help fund our vital research. We’ll be here supporting every step of the way with tips and inspiration to make a sober September a breeze.” Anthony Newman, brand, marketing and communications director at Cancer Research UK.

Dryathlon has already raised more than £19.5 million for Cancer Research UK’s lifesaving work and you can help by signing up now.
