Charity Rescue Animals of the Week

So many animal rescue shelters have cats, dogs, and other animals just waiting to find new homes. Here are some of the lovely pets from our animal charities that we have come across this week. Could one of them be your perfect match?

HorseWorld charity Chilli the horse.JPG

Chilli is a pretty little pony with loads of character available to rehome from the charity HorseWorld in Bristol. Check out that stunning Farah Fawcett mane! She is suitable to adopt as a companion to a riding horse, and can live outside without rugs or hard feed but needs restricted grazing during the warm months.

Animal Rescue Cumbria charity Meg the beagle.JPG

How can you resist those EYES! Meg is a typical beagle, and is full of energy with a tendency to be a bit of an escape artist. She is looking for a home with someone who can give her training and lots of nice walks. She is a friendly waggy girl who gets on nicely with other dogs, and is available from the charity Animal Rescue Cumbria.

Ashbourne Animal Welfare charity Lucky the cat.jpg

Lucky is a gorgeous black and white lad with characterful white whiskers. He is about 5 years old, and sadly had to go into a rescue shelter when his owner went into care. He can be adopted from Ashbourne Animal Welfare charity in Derbyshire.

Woodside Animal Sanctuary charity King Kong the pole cat.jpg

King Kong is a very inquisitive polecat, as you can see from the way he is giving a sharp look to the camera! He is full of fun and enjoys lots of activites, including tackling tennis balls, running through tubes and playing chaseys. Be aware he will sometimes bite. King Kong is available to adopt from Woodside Animal Welfare Trust charity in Plymouth.

Remember, if you aren't able to adopt a rescue animal you can still help out any of the charities mentioned above by making a donation to them via their page on Charity Choice.
