First episode of M.E., myself and I out now

Date Posted: 02 Jul 2018

M.E, myself and I tells the story of Rachel, a 19 year old girl living with M.E. and how she uses her favourite TV character to get through her daily struggles with the illness.

This new online series from TAPE Community Music and Film, launched on Saturday, has been written and produced by Thomas Ellis, who has lived with M.E. for 16 years.

The first episode focuses on isolation, and the TAPE team are now fundraising to produce further episodes.

Thomas contacted us last November about the series, and we were happy to provide a quote from our Chief Executive, Sonya Chowdhury, about the importance of raising awareness and understanding of M.E., to use in their press pack. It's great to see that the series has launched to a positive reception.

"We are super proud and have received so much feedback saying how real and accurate it feels," says Thomas.
