Give the promise of a better future
What a Legacy Means to KIA
At Kids in Asia our aim is to help millions of children beat deadly diseases and illnesses like malaria and diarrhoea, as well as provide support systems that educate and help build their lives. By leaving a legacy you can help us train doctors, teachers and give these children skills to help them on their road to adulthood.
As a result of recent legacies we have been able to ensure that many more children are cared for and given the chance of a safe and happy life with the basic support that many of us take for granted. Leaving a legacy to Kids in Asia is about revitalising lives and energising hope for the future –We are very grateful to those individuals whose commitment to KIA has inspired them to carry out such a special act.
Advice on making a Will
- KIA always recommends that you consult a solicitor when drafting your will. This is because they are best placed to advise you on issues such as changes in inheritance tax as well as making sure you are leaving your estate as you would want it.
Please keep in touch
- If you have made or are going to make your will and are leaving a legacy to KIA, please let us know. Pledges help us to plan ahead and we would also like to be able to thank you now for thinking about KIA in the future.
Testimonial from Sandra Brown who has left a gift in her will to KIA
“I wanted to leave this gift for a future generation of people in this part of the world as it has a special place in my heart. I know that this legacy will be used by KIA to continue with their great work with the children of Asia where I worked as a teacher for many years.
I decided to leave a charitable legacy to KIA as I worked in Cambodia for a number of years and saw the poverty and hardships these children suffered and decided to do what I could to help. After I had ensured my family was well provided for I found the process of adding a gift in my will very simple to do. I have found that leaving a legacy has also given me a stronger link to the work of KIA, which I have found very rewarding.
I would encourage others to do the same so that the charity can continue its life-saving work”

Make a Pledge
Gifts left in wills are really important to Kids in Asia2. However even if you haven't made a will, making a pledge to do so in the future would really help us to find out about your future intentions.
Pledges are not legally binding so by filling out this form you are not committing yourself! You are simply allowing Kids in Asia2 to confidently estimate future support for their cause.
Leave a Legacy
If you have already made a will but you want to leave a legacy to a charity you can make an addition or change it without re-writing your current will. This addition is called a codicil.
To leave a legacy to Kids in Asia2 please download the codicil form below and take it along to your solicitor.
Please note however that this form is not legally binding on its own and has to be part of your main will. We advise you to seek the advice of a solicitor.
If you have any questions about leaving a legacy to us, please contact Kids in Asia2 directly – they will be happy to discuss this with you.
