Create a gift for the future.
Tate's aim is to increase public awareness, understanding and appreciation of British art from 1500 to the present day and International Modern art from 1900 to the present day.
This is achieved through an extensive programme of displays at Tate Britain and TateModern in London, Tate Liverpool, Tate St Ives, and via our partnership galleries throughout the country and internationally.
Working with the Collection and special exhibitions, Tate also provides a wide variety of innovative education programmes for all ages and abilities, specialist academic research, a fascinating archive resource, award-winning publications, and the expertise of the conservation department is respected worldwide.
A legacy to Tate will directly support these core programmes and help to build our Collection enabling us to reach many more people that will feel inspired, challenged and invigorated through the opportunities we present.
