The Royal Osteoporosis Society is the only UK-wide charity dedicated to ending the pain and suffering caused by osteoporosis.

Osteoporosis is a condition in which bones lose their strength and are more likely to break. Affecting 1 in 2 women and 1 in 5 men over 50 in the UK, osteoporosis can lead to painful and debilitating broken bones, height loss and severe curvature of the spine. Broken bones caused by osteoporosis can rob people of their independence, mobility and quality of life.

The Royal Osteoporosis Society wants a future free from osteoporosis and the pain and suffering it can cause. However, we cannot achieve this goal without the help of our supporters. Gifts in wills fund over a third of our important work, fighting towards achieving our aims of:

• Prevention: Everyone has the best possible bone health throughout their life.

• Care: Everyone has the best possible bone health throughout their life.

• Support: Everyone with osteoporosis lives well and manages their condition in ways that best meet their needs.

• Cure: People have fewer fractures and live well because of new interventions.

Osteoporosis can happen to anyone, but it is not an inevitable part of ageing. Every single gift helps the fight against osteoporosis and gets us closer to our collective vision of a future without osteoporosis. Let’s help future generations to stand tall.

By including the Royal Osteoporosis Society in your will today, you will be helping to prevent unnecessary broken bones for future generations while helping those living with the condition receive the support and care that they need. Thank you.
