People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals (peta) Foundation

Registered Charity Number: 1056453
London,

The PETA Foundation is a registered charity working in Britain and worldwide to alleviate animal suffering by providing people - from legislators to consumers to schoolchildren - with the information they need to make compassionate choices concerning animals. We produce culturally appropriate humane-education materials in various languages for teachers to help them instil empathy in young people so that they will recognise their role in protecting animals from harm. We follow up on violent crimes involving animals by contacting schools, newspapers and other media, magistrates and police to point out the link between cruelty to animals and other anti-social behaviour.
