At In Kind Direct, we redistribute products from companies to charities, social enterprises and not-for-profit organisations.
Putting products where they’re most valued
Everyone’s idea of value is different.
Sometimes companies have too much stock. Sometimes they find samples, cosmetically damaged (but usable) goods, or end of line items sitting on shelves, taking up valuable warehouse space.
Those products might not seem to be worth much, but they could mean everything to a small charity or not-for-profit organisation.
So we take the items a company no longer wants and redistribute them to charities. This helps companies clear valuable space and support their corporate responsibility goals, while helping charities by giving them a convenient source of the things they need to operate.
And, as a result, those products in the warehouse get their value back.
They stop being worthless.
Because to someone, they’re priceless.
Helping charities invest in people
With every pound that charities spend on essential supplies and running costs, there’s less to spend on services.
Since 1996, we’ve redistributed hundreds of millions of pounds worth of goods. We’ve received product donations from 940 companies and delivered them to over 6,900 organisations.
But what really matters are the charities we work with, who get everything they need to function - while saving on average almost £6,000 a year.
So they can spend more of their money on support, not supplies.
Making it easy for companies to give
We know most companies want to do their bit to be a good neighbour and help communities thrive. But we also know how difficult it can be to ensure your donations are making a real difference.
So for companies with goods to give, we can accept almost any quantity, store them in our warehouse, and then distribute them to charities that need them most.
It’s one easy way to support thousands of charities.
