Opened in 1982, Compton Hospice provides care for those suffering from cancer and other life threatening illnesses.
Our catchment area includes Walsall, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Sandwell South Staffordshire and East Shropshire - 1.3 million people.
The Hospice has 22 in-patient beds, 11 clinical nurse specialists supporting over 300 people in their own homes; a Hospice at Home Service in Wolverhampton; Lymphoedema Service, in partnership with the Royal Wolverhampton Hospitals NHS Trust; 2 Day Care Centres and a busy Study Centre.
The Hospice admits patients regardless of religion, ethnic background or financial status - the care received by over 500 patients at any one time is FREE! To provide these services we need over £4 million a year.
