British Deer Society
Promoting the welfare of wild deer in the UK
Registered Charity Number: 1069663, SC037817
Fordingbridge,
Hampshire
Deer are an important part of our natural heritage. The British Deer Society, a registered charity, was founded in 1963 to protect the welfare of the six species of wild deer within the United Kingdom. The Society promotes general awareness through a programme of education, research, deer management training, exhibitions, shows and its quarterly DEER journal. The BDS is the principal organisation focusing on deer welfare and promoting their conservation in balance with the environment.
Our primary income is from subscribing members with a complete range of deer interests whose common bond is caring for deer. Your support would be greatly appreciated to help us continue our work.
You can donate to us by clicking the button on the top right of this page. You can also leave us a legacy by visiting the 'Leave a Gift in Your Will' page on this site.
