eBay for Charity is celebrating their £50 million milestone by hosting a huge celebrity auction to raise money for some amazing UK charities - 50 celebrities, 50 items, and 50 charities! 

Since its launch in 2006, eBay for Charity has helped shoppers to raise £50 million for over 7,500 UK charities while buying and selling on the site. They say "What better way to celebrate than to raise even more money for some fantastic charities and shine a spotlight on how easy it is to give to charity on eBay." Each celebrity has chosen a charity close to their hearts, and all proceeds from their listing will go to their charity choice. 

Up for grabs are some amazing items and experiences, donated by celebrities including Jessie J, Paul McCartney, Steven Fry and John McEnroe. Our favourite auctions are a Downton Abbey book donated by Hugh Bonneville and signed by the whole cast (for Merlin); a cycling experience with Michael Vaughn (for Laureus), 4 VIP tickets to the semi final of Britain’s Got Talent plus a meeting with David Walliams (for Comic Relief), and a guitar signed by Kiss (for Teenage Cancer Trust). We are also pretty amazed by the incredible platform boots donated by Elton John for Amnesty International!

The boys of One Direction have given signed shirts to raise money for Rays Of Sunshine, saying “We’ve met some amazing children through working with Rays of Sunshine, and feel honoured to be in a position to help. The charity gives thousands of seriously ill kids the chance to take time out and have some fun and we are delighted to help wherever we can.”
