The Lullaby Trust provides specialist support for bereaved families, promotes expert advice on safer baby sleep and raises awareness of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). We work to understand why over 600 babies die suddenly and unexpectedly in the UK each year, the majority of whom appear to be healthy. We are a national charity operating across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Since we formed as The Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths in 1971 we have been pivotal in reducing SIDS by 70%.
