Child of Hope provides free education, healthcare, food and clothing to the poorest children in the huge Namatala slum in Uganda.
In February 2011 we opened a brand-new school in the Namatala slum district of Mbale – described as one of the poorest places in the world – to provide free education, healthcare, food and clothing (and a lot more) to 190 pupils of nursery and primary age from the poorest and most vulnerable families in the slum. Now we're building more classrooms to school up to 600 children.
And guess what...? 100% of your donation will reach the children, because all our UK staff are volunteers!
