Young Classical Artists Trust (YCAT) identifies outstanding young musicians and chamber ensembles, promoting and supporting them through the challenging period between conservatoire and a full-time professional career. Once selected, artists receive between 3 and 5 years of full artist management, providing guidance through strategic diary and repertoire planning, career advice and support, and the provision of high quality publicity material in order to build their professional public profile. Towards the end of their time with YCAT, we aim to progress the artist to suitable commercial management.
YCAT offers representation through annual auditions, performances through YCAT Wigmore Hall Lunchtime Series, and performances throughout the UK. YCAT is supported entirely through the generosity of Friends, Charitable Trusts and Foundations, and currently receives no public subsidy.
