WVS (Worldwide Veterinary Service) provides veterinary resources to help animals in need all over the world, treating animals in places where no one else can.
Founded in 2003 by Luke Gamble, WVS have been working tirelessly ever since to make a difference to animal welfare. Working as a central veterinary resource, WVS offers free care to struggling animal charities and non-profit organisations around the world by supplying them with teams of vets, medicines, and equipment. They aim to not only help all animals that need help, but also the local communities in which they live and work.

WVS also have their own projects from outreach clinics in India, where they treat donkeys in remote areas, to dog population control campaigns in Malawi. They train international vets at their 3 International Training Centres across India and Thailand and, when it’s needed, they also send out emergency teams of vets and vet nurses to help animals during times of natural disasters and conflict.

Last year WVS treated over 28,000 animals, trained over 650 vets, deployed teams of vets all over the world, and sent over 900 parcels of veterinary supplies. With 86p of every £1 raised going directly to help animals in need, you can be sure that your support is making a real impact around the world.

WVS firmly believe in the ethos of a united profession championing animal welfare worldwide. Why? Because every animal matters.
