World Cancer Research Fund

Dedicated to cancer prevention and survival

One in two of us will receive a cancer diagnosis. But did you know that 40% of cancer cases are preventable? That’s around 147,000 cancer cases in the UK every year that could be prevented through simple healthy lifestyle choices

World Cancer Research Fund is a leading cancer prevention charity, funding worldwide scientific research into the links between diet, weight, physical activity, cancer prevention and survival. Translating the findings into practical, easy-to-use information to help everyone reduce their risk of cancer.

But our life-saving work can’t stop there, cancer rates continue to rise and as we receive no government funding, this innovative scientific research work is only possible through the generosity of people like you, especially from gifts in wills.

Having a current will is the best way to provide for your family and friends and we understand they must come first. But we urge you to join others to help prevent cancer and save lives by including a gift to World Cancer Research Fund when you write or next update your will.

Your gift would enable us to continue helping more people live healthier cancer-free lives.

What better legacy to leave your loved ones and future generations than the power to prevent cancer.

Together we can prevent cancer
