The RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution) has been around to help those in peril at sea, and more recently on inland waterways, since 1824.

No-one knows what the future holds, but we do know that the sea will always be a difficult and dangerous place.

Gifts left to us in Wills are crucial for us being able to save lives at sea in the future and being able to safeguard our courageous volunteer crew.

6 out of 10 launches would not be possible without gifts in Wills. Legacies provide the boats, equipment and training our crew need now and in the future.

A legacy to the RNLI will be more than a gift in your Will. It will save lives at sea, because when our crews launch, your gift will go with them.

It will be the lifeboat that launches at 2 AM in sub zero temperatures. It will be the training that guides our crews through 40-foot waves and gale force winds. It will be the tow rope that pulls a vessel out of danger.

Your legacy is our lifeline.
