“I just wanted to say a huge thank you for the party at Monkey Business last night,” said Tina, Barnsley refuge worker. “Our ladies and children thought it was brilliant and really loved it.”

On the 29^th of March, KidsOut held its first ever Easter party in the Sheffield area. Engaging low-income families and those affected by domestic abuse, some 60 children and 30 adults attended the Easter fun at theSheffield Monkey Bizness, a local soft play centre.

For two hours the children had exclusive use of the centre, playing on the slides and the climbing frames as they pleased. Midway through the party the families all enjoyed a sumptuous buffet provided by Monkey Bizness, and near the end they received a visit by Marvin the Monkey, the centre’s mascot.

“[It was] good to have a family day out,” said Anna, aged 10. “Thank you for taking us out for a trip.”
