Nomination For Animal Charity Team of the Year!

Date Posted: 28 Feb 2018

HAPPA (Horses and Ponies Protection Association) are pleased to announce that they have been nominated as Animal Charity Team of the Year.

Petplan and The Association of Dogs and Cats Homes began nominations for their annual animal charity awards in November last year.

Offering recognition for dedication and determination amongst both employees and volunteers at animal charities throughout the UK, nominations are received through Petplan’s online application process.

Speaking of being nominated HAPPA’s Chief Officer, Sarah Arthur, said “We are delighted that someone has taken the time to recognise our commitment to equine welfare. The HAPPA team are just that, a team. We have a number of employees dedicated to caring for our equines, raising funds or awareness, taking telephone calls, investigating cruelty and much more, we are all here for one reason- to make a better life for horses, ponies and donkeys in the UK.
We would like to thank the people who nominated HAPPA, and Petplan for recognising HAPPA as a fantastic Animal Charity Team. Whatever the outcome, those devoted to animal welfare are all winners in my eyes”.

The awards, launched in 2013, celebrate the exceptional work of animal charities and non-profit organisations across the UK.
