It is expected that the latest computers and computer programs will be available in most school in the developed world today, they are considered a necessary requirement to provide an effective education, but for thousands of children in the developing world just paper and pen are simply a luxury they cannot afford.

At St Daniels there are no desks or chairs, the children sit on the mud floor, they listen but cannot take notes. Computers are almost science fiction for this community, who do not enjoy the luxury of electricity, 

As a result of your donations CHI were able to provide 53 orphaned youngsters at St Daniels School with all the basics they require to learn effectively.  The uniforms, which give these youngsters a sense of belonging, pens, pencils and exercise books were received with much celebrating and praises to God for his provision.

As most of the children will only receive one meal a day in the evening (if they are lucky) lunch has also been funded for everyone for the entire term. We are told concentration and dicipline has improved as a result.
