Forever Queen Charity Gig

Date Posted: 28 Jun 2014

On Saturday 28th June Portsmouth based Queen tribute band, Forever Queen, rocked out in aid of halow. They played a mind-blowing 2 hour set at halow supporter pub and Guildford Fringe venue, The Keystone

The band covered all manner of Queen classics including We Will Rock You, Don't Stop Me Now, I Want To Break Free and We Are The Champions. It was a wonderful evening as people from around Surrey gathered to have a drink, dance and support the work halow does.

The gig was even more exciting for music lovers when Pink Floyd drummer, Nick Mason, made a special guest appreance. Nick kindly signed a door, that had been converted into an abstract canvas, painted with Pink Floyd motifs and their famous prism symbol.

Everyone had a superb night raising over £500 for young people with learning disabilities!

Thank you to everyone who attended and gave so generously. An enormous thank you to Forever Queen for all their hard work and getting the crowd on their feet. Huge thanks to Richard and The Keystone staff for all their help organising and promoting the event.
