The Langford Trust for Animal Health and Welfare is a small charity based at the University of Bristol's Veterinary School at Langford. We are passionate about animals and their health.
Promoting the practice, advancement and teaching of veterinary science to relieve the suffering and improve the welfare of animals is our objective. Fostering public education and developing methods of livestock production conducive to the health and welfare of animals is an integral part of this.
Thousands of sick and injured animals are referred to Langford each year for diagnosis or treatment by expert clinicians. We currently need funds to support much needed clinical research to improve the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and conditions affecting wildlife, equine, farm and companion animals worldwide. Advancing veterinary science and clinicians’ knowledge is vital for animals to lead healthier lives and receive the best possible care.
As a charitable Trust we depend upon the generosity of the animal loving general public to support our work. If you care about animals and wish to ensure their health and welfare is protected both now and in the future, please consider donating to the Langford Trust.
