Free Webinar: Fundraising in the time of COVID-19

On Thursday 2nd April we hosted our very first free live webinar for charities to discover the different ways they can approach the COVID-19 crisis to the aid of their organisation.

The coronavirus pandemic has had a significant impact on all business areas, and the charity sector has certainly not been spared. With a distracted supporter base and serious economic uncertainty, how can charities stay at the forefront of people’s minds, at a time when they need their donors more than ever?

Consider Creative's Account Director, Ellie Adamo, and Creative Director, Ben Brill, discussed how different organisations outside of the sector have approached the COVID-19 pandemic, and shared their advice on:

  • How charities, large and small, can learn from the lessons of the commercial sector to benefit their organisations
  • What to say (and what not to say) during the COVID-19 era
  • How to ensure clarity of message to your supporters
  • How to adapt your strategy for quick wins and the longer term

With a broad range of creatives, fundraisers and planners at their disposal, Consider have a wealth of experience when it comes to helping charities navigate through difficult problems, while ensuring they continue to see results. With clients such as: The British Heart Foundation, Mind, WWF and Amnesty International, Consider were well placed to provide the information charities need in these uncertain times.

Although we had to postpone our Future Fundraising event, which was due to take place on 23rd March (new date TBC), we wanted to stay connected with our network, and continue to support the hard work of charity fundraisers by bringing our trademark practical and insightful content direct to your home office!

We hope you enjoy this webinar and find it useful. If you have any ideas for further webinars you’d like to see, please let us know!
