Hundreds of thousands of people take part in runs every year and many of them for the first time. This run is really for anyone of any ability; all you need is a good pair of running shoes.

There are two runs to choose from:

London: The 2014 DoitforCharity Santa Run (5K and 10K) at Victoria Park

Manchester: The Manchester United Foundation Santa Run (2K and 5K) at Old Trafford*

A free Santa suit and medal will be provided for all runners on the day.
