Livability enables more than 1,000 disabled children and adults to live fuller, more independent lives each day. We do this by providing a range of services including specialist education centres, residential care, and supporting disabled people to become active members of their local communities. Created by the merger of the Shaftesbury Society and John Grooms in 2007, Livability's vision is of a transformed society where disabled and disadvantaged people can live life to the full.
