Improving the lives of older people inspired by Christian concern
Registered Charity Number: 1083995
MHA (Methodist Homes) cares for vulnerable older people of all faiths and none. Guided by the Christian values of love and compassion which inspired our Methodist founders in 1943 we have developed innovative services alongside residential, nursing and dementia care. Our housing, with care onsite, enables couples to stay together when their care needs differ. Dementia day care centres provide vital support for people living with dementia and respite for their carers. MHA's Community Services support people in their own homes giving them places to go and people to meet.
We value each person for who they are and what they bring as an individual. All our care is person-centred, meaning that we strive to find out what is right for each individual taking into account personality, history, culture and faith. This is especially important for people with dementia and is an area in which MHA has established recognised expertise. We provide dementia care in a variety of settings - residential, which is where our expertise in dementia care began; apartments with care onsite, keeping families together, and day centres and dementia cafes for those who want to and can remain living at home.
We aim to provide the highest possible standards of care and housing to over 16,000 people we support around the UK.
