A special fund from the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity
Registered Charity Number: 235825
Despite big improvements in cure rates for children with cancer and leukaemia these diseases kill more children in the UK every year than almost any other disorder.
No less tragic are several blood disorders - e.g. aplastic anaemia, haemophilia, histiocytosis and sickle cell disease - some of which can be even more dangerous than cancer, whilst others cause severe incapacity and recurrent pain.
The REACH Fund was established in 1992 to support research into these diseases.
We also support research into 'symptom control' e.g. pain control in children with cancer.
The REACH Fund is a special purpose fund of Great Ormond Hospital Children's Charity Reg. Charity No. 235825.
