Trust P A Spinal Injury Repair Fund
Funding Treatments to Repair Paralysis
We are funding vital research to repair permanent paralysis.
Because permanent paralysis from a broken neck or back happens every 6-8 hours every day in the UK, average age 19 years and shockingly 78% are male.
After nearly 40 years of research by Prof Geoff Raisman FRS , the 1st ever spinal repair operation has been successfully completed by grafting nasal cells into the spine, resulting in the 1st man to walk after paralysis as seen revently on BBc Panorama and on a tricycle on UTube.
Trust PA Spinal Injury charity has helped Prof Raisman to bring this important work to its current success. Another 10-12 patients must be treated ASAP in order to complete the testsfor treatments to be adopted into the NHS for all that need it.. 2 have already been selected.
Your support now will help Trust PA Spinal Injury to continue the vital funding to achieve that.
