Pushing themselves to the limit, covering 200 miles in 24 hours, running, swimming and cycling, Carl Beetham and Grant Wyatt are completing The Coast to Coast Extreme to raise funds for The Sunningdale Hope Trust and Stay Close To Neve.

This event is not for the feint hearted. Reading the planned itinerary alone will exhaust most of us.....

  • Starting at St Bees Head run south along the coast to for 14 miles to Ravenglass.

  • Cycle into the Lake District along the UK’s two steepest passes, Hard Knott and Wrynose, which register gradients of 35% and 33% respectively.

  • At Lake Windermere a swim for a couple of miles (8 degrees expected!)

  • Back on their bikes through the remainder of the Lake District, up and over The Pennines, across the North Yorkshire Moors to Scarborough.

  • And to finish off a 13 mile run along the North Eastern coast to Robin Hood Bay.
