Remember The Make a Difference Trust in your Will
The Make a Difference Trust relies on the generocity of the public to continue the vital work we do supporting people living with HIV and AIDS.
Leaving a gift in your Will, no matter how big or small can make a huge difference to the people and projects we support.
How your gift will help:
There are around 100,000 people in the UK alone living with HIV and it is estimated a third of those are unaware they have the virus.
The Legacy you leave will help The Make a Difference Trust provide essential tool kits to schools and communities to ensure there is a greater awareness of HIV and AIDS.
Your legacy will also benefit community groups in Southern Africa dedicated to supporting children who are orphaned due to AIDS.
The Make a Difference Trust was the entertainment industries response to the AIDS epidemic over 21 years ago and our hardship fund is still just as important today as it was then. We support anyone who is working or has worked in the entertainment industry from the box office staff and wardrobe departments to the perfomers and technicians who are living with a long term health condition. Leaving a gift in your Will ensures we can continue To Make a Difference the lives of each and every one of them.
How you can leave a gift in your Will:
There are three types of legacy you can leave The Make a Difference Trust:
1. A residuary legacy - This is the remainder or percentage of your estate once your other bequests and expenses have been deducted.
2. A pecuniary legacy - This is a specific amount of money you can leave The Make a Difference Trust.
3. A specific Legacy - This is an item such as a piece of jewelry, property or anything else you may want to leave.
Whichever legacy you choose we can guarantee it will Make a Difference.

Make a Pledge
Gifts left in wills are really important to The Make a Difference Trust. However even if you haven't made a will, making a pledge to do so in the future would really help us to find out about your future intentions.
Pledges are not legally binding so by filling out this form you are not committing yourself! You are simply allowing The Make a Difference Trust to confidently estimate future support for their cause.
Leave a Legacy
If you have already made a will but you want to leave a legacy to a charity you can make an addition or change it without re-writing your current will. This addition is called a codicil.
To leave a legacy to The Make a Difference Trust please download the codicil form below and take it along to your solicitor.
Please note however that this form is not legally binding on its own and has to be part of your main will. We advise you to seek the advice of a solicitor.
If you have any questions about leaving a legacy to us, please contact The Make a Difference Trust directly – they will be happy to discuss this with you.
