Nightrider, the iconic charity night bike ride is the perfect backdrop for the best night out. It is a fun and quirky way to explore a city's top sights, latest attractions and famous landmarks.
This is a one day charity ride with a difference...itís at night! Nightrider is all about getting together with your friends, family or work colleagues and taking on a challenge together in a fun way. This is not a timed ride, itís not a sportive, itís all about having a good time together, seeing the sights and raising funds.
Full support, back up and regular break stops are provided throughout the night, along with a well-earned breakfast and medal at the finish.
Set off from Lee Valley VeloPark from 10.30pm and follow a 100km or 50km circular route past over fifty of Londonís most famous landmarks. Highlights include Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Tower Bridge, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, the London Eye, Buckingham Palace and The Mall to name just a few!
As the UK's first Cycling City, Bristol is one of Europe's most bike-friendly destinations and Nightrider provides a unique way to explore its well-known sights and attractions. The 2017 route is undergoing an exciting revamp in partnership with Visit Bristol. Set off from a city centre location and follow two 50km loops through the city taking in major landmarks and hidden gems, including the vibrant Harbourside area and iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge. NEW for 2017 Ė a 50km route option.
The action-packed event includes all the city's iconic landmarks and legendary musical heritage. The first 50km loop is through the Mersey Tunnel, which will be closed to other traffic for the event, to the Wirral Peninsula. Highlights include the Royal Liverpool Golf Club, West Kirby and Port Sunlight, plus there are spectacular views back over the city centre. Loop 2 takes in more world-famous landmarks: Liverpool's historic waterfront, Albert Dock, Echo Arena, Cavern Club, Empire Theatre, Penny Lane, Strawberry Fields, Knotty Ash, Anfield Stadium (Liverpool FC) and Goodison Park (Everton FC). NEW for 2017 Ė a 50km route option. You can choose whether to do the Liverpool or the Wirral loop.
