Our ultimate goal is to beat MS for good. And until that day comes, we’re committed to supporting people who are living with MS today, while we fund the research that could lead to more effective treatments and a cure.

A third of this work is funded by wonderful supporters who left a gift to the MS Society Scotland in their will to help future generations. Legacies are truly vital and a gift of any size is gratefully received, so why not consider leaving a donation of 1% of the residue of your estate to the MS Society Scotland.

How do I leave a gift?

If you don’t already have a will, we recommend speaking to a solicitor. They’ll advise on what your will should contain to ensure all your wishes are carried out. So that your gift reaches the MS Society, please include our full name and registered charity details: Multiple Sclerosis Society Scotland, registered charity nos. 1139257 / SC041990.

If you have already made a will, you can amend it using a 'codicil’ - a formal addition to your existing will. Again, it's always best to involve a solicitor.

To find out more about this special way of giving, or to request our free brochure, email hjohnstone@mssociety.org.uk or call Hazel Johnstone on 0131 335 4071.

Many thanks,

Hazel

Make a Pledge

Gifts left in wills are really important to Multiple Sclerosis Society Scotland. However even if you haven't made a will, making a pledge to do so in the future would really help us to find out about your future intentions.
