Lifeworks Staff and Supporters Brave New Heights

Date Posted: 17 Sep 2015

On Saturday, 12th September, our brave staff and supporters abseiled Canonteign Falls to raise money for Lifeworks. This sponsored event saw twenty-one people turn up to take on the challenge – with all of them completing the 220 foot abseil down Lady Exmouth Falls at Canonteign- England’s highest man-made waterfall.

The dare-devil group included nine members of our very own staff- from Robins, Sesame, Lifeworks College and the head office. So far, the event has raised over £2700 and the total is set to rise as last-minute donations continue to pour in.

Fancy a quick peep at what it’s really like to Challenge Canonteign? Take a look at this video, filmed by Bronwen from Robins as she went over the edge!

We are over the moon with the support we received at this fantastic event. Huge thanks to everyone for being such good sports, raising so much money, and taking on this incredible challenge. This is the first time that we have run the abseil, and next year, we would love to welcome even more people to Challenge Canonteign!
