Kirkburton 28th Scout Group

Kirkburton Uniformed Group is the collective name for the Scouting and Guiding units that meet at the KUG headquarters on Hallas Road in Kirkburton, Huddersfield. HD8 0QQ – which is only around 5 miles from Huddersfield.  We currently have around 100 young people involved in Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Brownies and Guides.  Our members take part in a wide range of activities run entirely by volunteer leaders.

Whilst we always welcome new young members to our units what is vital to our continued provision is adult help. Adults who help with children have to have enhanced DBS checks, but these are provided free of charge, so this is no barrier if you would like to join in and help.  We also welcome help with fundraising and general maintenance of our HQ building.  If you are interested in helping in any way please contact us, we really do need your support.
