On Thursday 25th of October we celebrated the success of our wonderful ambassadors at our annual awards evening.  The team got to show their appreciation for our supporters fantastic fundraising activities throughout the year,  From walks, running events, dodgeball, fundraising dinner’s, tea parties just to name a few it was great to see such a variety of activities taking place raising awareness and vital funds for Kidney Wales.

We are so fortunate to have the most dedicated ambassadors representing us across the country.  The support we receive is growing year on year which was evident simply on how full the room was yesterday evening.  The evening was most certainly a memorable one, and we had the opportunity to hear some very inspiring stories.

A big thank you and congratulations to all of our award winners last night.  You are all absolutely amazing.  An additional congratulations is in order for the winners of our 8 distinct awards.

Annette Woolfall who won Walk Organiser of the Year.

Gail Davies who took home the award for Volunteer of the Year.

The Corporate Team of the Year award was won by Team HMRC.

Gail Humphreys who won Community Team of the Year.

Emily Thomas who’s are Young Fundraiser of 2018.

Kathryn Benson left with the title of Fundraiser of the Year.

Young Ambassador of the Year was won by Summer Kansiray.

Last but not least Lyn Greatrex who was awarded the Ambassador of  the year title.

The winners of each of the awards above had been selected by a panel of judges who had to make some very tough decisions based on all the fantastic efforts of our supporters throughout the year.  Everyone who attended the event were worthy winners of one or more of these awards which really does reinforce how difficult of a decision this was.

We are already excited to hear of some of the exciting fundraising plans ahead for 2019, and very much looking forward to next years event where we will get the opportunity to celebrate another year of fantastic success!
