Mum died as a result of Parkinson's Disease in 2013. She was a lovely lady with an infectious chuckle, which she'd even break into when she heard herself utter jumbled sentences after the disease had set in. In her memory I'd like to raise funds for research into the disease to help current and future sufferers and, optimistically, to aim for prevention.
I plan to walk 1,260 miles from Land's End to John o'Groats in 2019, between May and August, collecting donations as I go. Dare I ask you for a penny a mile? I'll be walking for 78 days so, if you're skint, please just give 2p per day.
You'll be able to read about my journey on my blog (https://whiteacorns.wordpress.com/), which I started in 2015 after walking The Pennine Way.
