The Vet Group Three Peaks Challenge Team
On June 21st-22nd 2018, a team of Support Office colleagues from the Pets At Home Vet Group is completing the Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for the Cinnamon Trust, which has been nominated as our Support Office charity for the year 2018/2019.
Cinnamon Trust is the only specialist national charity which seeks to relieve the anxieties, problems, and sometimes injustices, faced by elderly and terminally ill people and their pets, thereby saving a great deal of human sadness and animal suffering.
The Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales and we are aiming to do this within the challenge target time of 24 hours! The total walking distance is 23 miles, and the total ascent is 3,064 metres. Additionally there are 475 miles of driving between the three mountains, so this genuinely is a challenge to do within the time!
We are aiming to raise £1,000 for the charity, so it would be amazing if you could donate and pledge your support to our challenge, and this great charity.
