So today is the day I get to announce to all my friends and family that I will be doing a Skydive for charity this year!!!! On the 7th April 2018 I will be jumping 13000ft out of a plane at the Army Parachute Association in Salisbury.
Those who know me will know I am petrified of heights and the thought of a skydive has always terrified me. BUT, I will be raising funds for a charity extremely close to my heart, so why not!
The Animal Hope and Wellness Foundation is a non-profit organisation focused solely on rescuing abused and neglected animals. This charity rescue them, provide full rehabilitation services, and then work to find them their fur-ever .
Their other focus has recently been on rescuing dogs from the Asian Dog Meat Trade. From the slaughterhouses and torture chambers where the use of cruel and barbaric methods are practiced to kill dogs in order for their meat to taste better.
The dog meat festival still continues to happen every year, and it will not stop without the work of amazing charities like this one!
So I ask those reading this to please donate whatever you can, to help support this charity in rescuing the lives of innocent animals in need of our help!
Thank you for taking the time to read this, the countdown begins!!!!
