Friends of Conservation (FOC) is an international wildlife conservation charity with more than 30 years experience in the field.  FOC was originally established in response to severe rhino poaching in Kenya’s world-renowned Masai Mara Reserve – arguably one of the most beautiful and ecologically-diverse places on earth.  We aim to protect endangered species and habitats through working closely with the communities living near the Reserve, helping them to achieve economic progress, whilst maintaining due regard for their surroundings and using natural resources sustainably.

Support from legacies greatly helps FOC to achieve our objectives and continue with our work which includes wildlife monitoring/protection, anti-poaching campaigns and reforestation and fuel –efficiency initiatives.  We are committed to environmental education and have established a number of Conservation Clubs in schools, enabling students to participate in activities aimed at raising awareness of conservation issues, such as planting, litter clean-ups and keeping bee-hives.  Another long running aim is to support women in the community;  helping them to find ways of generating income and independence and we run workshops on various subjects including marketing and product design as well as key health issues, such as HIV/Aids awareness.  And in addition to our own community and conservation initiatives, we support a number of like-minded organisations working to conserve other threatened species, such as the wild cheetah and the Bengal tiger.

Please consider leaving a legacy and help us continue to protect endangered species and their habitats.

Thank you.

Leave a Legacy

To leave a legacy to Friends of Conservation (FOC) please download the codicil form below and take it along to your solicitor.

Please note however that this form is not legally binding on its own and has to be part of your main will. We advise you to seek the advice of a solicitor.
