How to take part ... in three easy steps:
Sign up now and then you can get planning!
Find a venue. You could use a local dance studio, community centre, park, gym - or your own home!
Invite your friends, family, colleagues or fellow dancers to join your five-hour danceathon. Don’t fancy the whole five hours? Hold a dance relay and take turns to keep the dance going!
Get everyone you know to sponsor your danceathon challenge, and help save children’s lives with the money you raise.
Pineapple Dance Studio are offering a 20% discount online to everyone who registers for the Ultimate Danceathon and all dancers attending their event.*
....WIN TEA WITH ARLENE PHILLIPS
Raise over £300 and you’ll be entered into a prize draw* to win afternoon tea for you and a friend with Arlene Phillips, West End choreographer and TV personality.
She’ll share her top dance tips, and you and your friend will enjoy one night’s stay at the luxury Goring hotel in London’s Belgravia, including breakfast.
...HOW YOUR MONEY HELPS
Every year 7.6 million children under five die needlessly.
Many lose their lives because they can’t get the food they need.
By dancing for five hours in The Ultimate Danceathon, we’ll be able to help children and make sure they survive their vulnerable first five years.
Before you put on your dancing shoes, think about…
Doing something different. Prefer to dance in the comfort of your own home? Then why not try a Wii danceathon!
Trying something new. From salsa to street, Zumba to rumba – why not mix up your danceathon by trying a few different styles!
Spreading the word. Share it on Facebook. Tweet about it. Tell your local newspaper. Whatever you do, make sure everyone knows about your challenge!
Saying thank you. Make sure you let everyone know about the difference they’re making to children’s lives by sponsoring you.
